Payne’s work is centered around the Black American narrative and their experiences.

He uses various mediums along with past and present representation to further elevate the culture while continuing to remain extremely authentic in his creative mission, style, and approach. The bold color palette used in his pieces signify the ever-growing power of Black expression and worth as people.
